*Totally agrees with Catherine* I'm awful about getting around to showing off pets, though I at least put them in a signature or avatar and show them off that way. So many other things grab for my time, but I'm not one of those people who just adopt and poof either.

I don't remember that?=P haha, but if it was a while ago then I might have been the one to explain, I'm really not sure...I do remember you pming me about a pet that you adopted from me and that you'd wanted to mpa out, but I don't think that that's the same thing? And I have no problem with people mpaing about petz^^ hehe. And I really don't mind when people ask for leftover petz in a wanted thread, though<3. If the requester didn't chose a certain pet, I really don't see anything wrong if someone asks for it.. Oh, and I agree with you 100%. I don't mind it when people adopt a lot of petz, but to post in every single adoption thread seems a bit...I don't know, as if you hardly have a chance to appreciate them if you're adopting so many (although the worst part, for me, is when they don't even show them off after they got them) I mean, of course you don't have to show them off the next day, but it would be nice to see them around, y'know?=P Oh my, how emberassing! It wasn't you, but Rina haha. *blushes* Oops. I also tend to forget to show my new petz off. Reminds me that I err... Still have to show off A LOT new petters. : < Better get of my lazy ass and do it today.

i forget to show off alllll the time. so when people adopt out to me, they can't be offended if it doesn't happen, or happens months & months later. hahah. :c
also, i'm with maya on the people asking for unwanted petz in the wanted section. pm me. don't just go "OMG I CAN HAZ" cause i'm not going to give it to you. it's so incredibly rude. SO RUDE. ugh.

Something that irritated me today in an adoption thread that may be similiar to a post posted a few up:
There was this dog adoption post and I liked 2 of them, but because you can have 'as many as you want' the person in front of me adopted like 8 and I wanted one of them :S blahh

I know what Shebaatje means. It is nice to see pets reappear and hear how they are getting on. Some of my favourite petz personalities in the PC are the ones that we get little updates about from time to time. At the same time though I can see why people don't put up threads. I always do an initial show off thread. I think there's a couple that missed when I was having computer issues but I like to put one thread up to say thank you but the update threads take me so long to make and it's hard to make them interesting for people to read that sometimes it doesn't feel worth the time it takes to make them. When you've only got so much time in an evening to yourself you have to pick and choose what you want to do with it. I've spent the odd night taking so long making pictures and sigs etc that I didn't get any time to actually play with my petz which sometimes that's all you want to do.
But yeah if you're adopting everything in sight and we never see a peep out of at least one or two of the petz or even just the member posting in any of the other sub-forums that's a little bit annoying. It doesn't keep me up at night but I think they are missing out by not being more involved in the community.

Mass adopters & hoarders bug me, but lulz not so much... lack of show offs... I'm extremely guilty of this. I hate making show offs. Honestly, it just irks me. I prefer to just... play with my petz and display them in a sig or avatar or something. It's just easier for me. :x I try to make show offs, but I need to be in the mood.

I always try show off each pet initially, but i'm terrible at that when it comes to bred petz especially. One of the reasons is i forget, then i'll have too many to do at the same time aaaaand then it's either play petz or just take pictures to show them off... D; Also, i don't think my show off's are very interesting, and i struggle at making them so. So it kinda makes me less inclined to make them.. oh well.

Putting a (new) pet in your av/signature is a great way to show off too!=D (Although you might get a lot of pm's from people asking where you got the pet from etc.) which isn't so bad if people are polite about it, but I've gotten a couple of pm's regarding one of my petz that were just plain rude=/. Granted that I don't reply to those though...haha.
Also, the thing that Dollhouse described, about the petz hoarders, is the reason why I always set a limit to the number of petz that people can adopt from me=]. I'd like it to be fair.
