I know it's extremely popular and almost everyone loves it, but The Graduate. Holy cinema, I have never been so unmoved and bored throughout any movie. I related to absolutely no one, I didn't care at all for the plot, and I found nothing clever or even vaguely thought provoking. *Shrug* I dunno, maybe I missed something. I can usually find interest and deep meaning in cereal boxes but I got nothing from The Graduate.
The recent Great Gatsby. This is one of those few movies that gets progressively worst to me the more I think about it. The acting was fairly decent (Bar Tobey Maguire. I cant stand him as an actor.) but it was so silly that the meaning of the story was diluted.
The Hobbit. (Keep in mind I saw The Hobbit after I saw DoS.) I would say DoS is objectively worse but at least the second movie kept my attention in most parts. I found myself drifting into daydream the way I drift during a bad lecture.
The Desolation of Smaug. Bad, but not horrific. Even with my babies Benedict and Martin in it. The barrel waterfall scene. NO. FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY. NO.
Pacific Rim. Okay, let me explain something about this movie. It's bad. Really bad. The acting is off. The plot is off. The science is off. The logic is non-existent but it is the perfect storm of bad that equates to huge fun. But that doesn't stop it from being bad.
Misc. movie:
- Lucy - The Lorax - Man of Steel - The Purge

I had to watch it for my cinema class, and it was one of the only ones I couldn't stand. I don't know what it was, but it didn't click and left a sour taste. As for The Great Gatsby, it's one of my favorite books of all time and I agree, that the newest one, even with my beloved Leo, wasn't right. It didn't convey the book in a proper manner, I think. The book is so much.. more. I feel like one understands the characters way better in the book. I thought Tobey Maguire was actually a good choice for Carraway, though.

Frogs
Running through a forest to get away from the frogs and having pink highlighter appear on your face to simulate blood? Being killed in a greenhouse because you stored the right mix of volatile chemicals on a support beam above your head and a frog accidentally knocked the bottles over? By the way, these are all normal, relatively slow moving, hopping, regular frogs. Not mutants, not zombies, just your average ribbiter.

V/H/S was by far the worst for me xD and the fact that they have carried it out for like 3 movies, they are all on Netflix if you care to see xD but be advised if you are younger or just not into it, there is a lot of mature content(raunchy nudity, gore etc)

I really disliked Lone Ranger, it seemed to go on forever and the only reason I kept watching was Johnny Depp.

Joe's Apartment. Grossest visuals, not clever plot. I rarely stop watching a movie partway through. This one I did.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I love the musical. I even like Donny Osmond as Joseph. The film version was TERRIBLE. The budget was about $3.50, and $3.00 of that went to actually getting Donny Osmond to be in it.
Starship Troopers, but that did benefit from being a Rifftrax Live! viewing. Poor Neil Patrick Harris, why you gotta have that on your resume?

Birdemic. HA! Just do a Google Search and you'll see what I mean.
As for movies I'm not a fan of, I would say Gone Girl wasn't of my liking. EXTREMELY crappy ending, and...*shudders* The soundtrack in the movie is bone chilling. The song played in the end credits made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, but to be fair, I'm a huge wimp. LOL.
