^R, I hope you're not doing that all just for fashion. It disgusts me when people label themselves the whole 'emo wrist-slitting omgmylifesux' when there are actually people with legitimate mental disorders that make them this way.... Yet another reason to hate this 'Emo' fad. The very reason I hate "emos." People who genuinely self harm don't mention it all the time. Those who do are just attention seekers in my opinion. That's not aimed specifically at you, R. It's just a general view. All the "emos" I've ever met in my life have been over dramatic attention seekers with attitude problems. Back ontopic, I have around 6 real friends outside of RKC. JonO is obviously the first one. Then I've got my two best girl mates, Charlie and Lozzy, and of course Star (but I've yet to meet her in the flesh!) I've also got one or two University buddies, Shazza and Jamie namely. I dunno, a lot of the people I thought were my friends went off me at some point.

Yet another reason to hate this 'Emo' fad. It's definatly not for the fashion xD I hate people who are like that. I do have a lot wrong in my life but, I'm not gonna go into that publically xP I hate the people who say that they cut themselves etc. purely for the fashion. It's just sad. If you're emo fashion, fine. If you say you cut yourself and such when you don't, you're a bit of a loser :/

I have 1. T.T I'm the Satanist emo self-harmer violent depressed bitch. Are you not labelling yourself there, then? :/ I don't want this to escalate into an argument but seriously, your comments contradict each other.

^ That's what I'm known as at school. I'm not calling myself that, I'm saying that I'm known as that.

How do you guys know so many people? xD Perhaps my definition of a friend is different than others. I know a lot of people, but they aren't my friends as in people. I've lived in...16 different places so far(wow...didn't realize it was that many...) and I know -a ton- of people. I could loosely call dozens of them friends, but the truth is, what I view as a friend is closer to what others view as a best friend. I voted 1-3.

They're just taking the mick. I pretty much ignore it nowadays. I'm kinda used to it xD

I voted 6-9. I have three best friends and two that will probably become best friends within the school year.
My friends are the only reason (besides getting into college) that I go to school <3

ermm.. i have many so called 'friends'. but only like one or two i actually hang out with and talk to all the time..
i'm shy so people seem to think i'm some bitch.. but it's because i'm shy and afraid to talk to people.. but if they gave me a chance they would see i am the sweetest, most loyal and caring person there is.. i'm a like a dog.. lol.
the people i go to school with are very shallow and cliquey it's gross. like.. we're adults.. we're in college.. and they act like they're in middle school or high school.. grrf. cliques. they don't even try to be my friend. it's annoying and i sometimes like get really upset and sad because of it.. i'm a good person.. but they never even get to know me before they decide to hate me. grrrrrf.

I find that there's a fine line between those two, who I can trust with all my secrets, versus those I can relate to and have fun with but don't completely trust. I have hundreds, maybe close to a thousand acquaintances, that if they asked me to lunch I would probably accept their offer, but otherwise I don't tell them much...

I voted 3-6. Alot has changed for me since I started dating my current boyfriend almost 3 years ago. I use to be into some pretty bad things, and since straightening out my life have lost the people that went along with that lifestyle. It's sad, even though you don't want a part of that life anymore, you wish those people could still be with you. I really don't have many people to just hang out with anymore. Couple are in prison (-.- Err, yeh.), a few had kids and/or got married (not that I love them any less, it's just harder to schedule "us" time), and a few moved away for college/travel/other reasons. I try not to let distance keep us apart, even if I have to drive 6 hours to see them a few times a year, but it's really hard to maintain a "close" friendship that way... Anyway, I guess my real friends are my boyfriend, my brother and my cousin and whatnot. I've never been one to need a huge social circle. The truth is, since I'm not a bad monkey anymore, I prefer a quiet night at home with my family and bf, just having a drink and watching a movie. It's quality, not quantity.

...Where's the zero? P:
I'm not emo or anti-social. It's actually kind of hard to shut me up. I used to go around when I was little shouting "Gutentag!" to people in Publix. I just don't have friends. But I've never self-harmed in my life, I'll have you know, and I don't plan on doing it. It's more that I don't want friends. Again, I'm not emo. D<
And R, pleease don't cuss on the forum like that. D: -whine-

I have a great small handful of friends. I used to have twice as many, but after highschool only the good ones really stuck around :3

I have one person I consider a true friend. We have been friends for 6 years and we do almost everything together!
I'm not a very social person in real life.. I don't make the effort to keep in touch with people and I don't like going out in large groups. I've always preferred one-on-one friendships. I am friendly with the people I went to school with but we don't keep in touch at all. I do consider some of the people I work with friends but we rarely hang out.
