For the most part, it depends on which dog and also depends on what they were doing to merit such praise, whether we were in the midst of training that feat, etc.
The thing is, if I talk "baby talk" to Charlie he looks at me like I am dumber than heck. So to praise him, I simple "Good Char" in a steady, but neither firm nor babyish, voice gets him happy, along with some pets and treats if he merits them. Meelah on the other hand... if you dont talk to her in a soft feminine (higher pitched) voice, she cowers (been that way since the moment i got her.. poor girl) so to praise her, I say "Meelah's a good girl" in a girly voice and lavish her in a scratch behind the ear (she loves it), and give her a treat if she merits it.
So yeah.. just depends I guess.

I say "Good girl" or "Good Kitta" when I praise my dog and fluff her up some, haha. Or I reward her with one of her toys and a good play session.

During normal training, I say 'Good boy!' or 'Good pup!', when we're doing a sequence and I don't want to offer a food reward just yet. When he finishes the sequence, I will say it with a bit more gusto and pair it with a small treat. Sometimes I say attaboy too.
However, when he performs a new behavior for the first time, I make a HUGE fuss over him- when he did 'down' for the first time, I lavished on the cuddles and praise. xD
I only use a clicker when I'm teaching a new behavior and I want him to learn which behavior is earning the treat. Once he gets the behavior down I don't click for it any more.

i try to not use treats because i don't want my dogs to be obsessed with food. so when they do something correct i use lots of praise and petting. :-)

I'm easily impressed. ;XD I usually do something like "AAH, LOOKIT YOU." and waggle and rub enthusiastically under their ears. I don't currently know any dog that doesn't like to be rubbed underneath their ears, so that's usually what I go for.

i clicker'ed but it depends what we're actually doing.
generally normal tricks or behaviours i'll click for. however marley can sometimes get bored of food, and only use the clicker with treats, so it's often tugging he goes crazy for. generally "what a star", "gooodd laaadd/lasss" or "YAYAYAYAY".
both dogs get a good play after any type of training. if you're gypsy this includes simple fetch games or tugging. & if you're marley play the game where i steal his paws. he gets excited when i steal his paws. (:

I usually just say "Good girl" to my dogs if they're behaving. Sometimes I say it to them as a term of endearment as well. Occasionally I call them by their made-up stupid names as praise too (they know it's a good sign!) Daisy is Boggart/Boggis/Biggles/Dogbot/Diggory if she's being good. Emma is Mrs Emms/Mademoiselle/Oh Dear if she's behaving well. Aaaand Tilly is Vanilly/Chinchilla/Ville-Ville/Doughy Seal/Sealpup/Knickers, depending on the situation XD

Depends which dog it is. Luke tends to be discouraged easily sometimes, but praise and a little food always builds up his confidence quickly. Holly has been harder to train than Luke because motivating her isn't as easy; verbal praise really doesn't do much for her, but food definitely does XD

I give my littie Daisy some cookies and a belly rub. That shows her how much I love her!
