Not sure where the question belongs, please move if this is the inappropriate forum.
I'm not really interested in entering shows but I want to do a big show off with lots and lots of dogs. I want to pose them in a way that displays most of their markings and won't be too time-consuming to shoot. Part of the reason I dislike the Dali and Dane poses is because they can obscure several mutt markings with good alignment. I also have a lot of poodle and scottie personalities that don't pose well at all. I am considering doing a puppy pose facing one direction, and an adult pose facing the other, and superimpose the images on top of one another. Too much work?
What styles of displaying pet pix do you like the best when showing off several petz at a time?

It all depends what you want to use these pictures for...would they be put on a crew/ breeding site, or a show off thread right here on RKC or other forums?
If it's a crew site, I always try to get my petz to do some funny/ cute pose while playing with a toy or while wearing clothes etc. Same goes for show off threads. Those are just for fun and to show the breeder/ hexer of the pet that you enjoy them. So I'll take pictures of my petz while playing with them and I safe the cutest ones to put together in a show off picture.
If it's for breeding purposes, you might want to take pictures of the pet from an angle that shows off the petz's markings and traits (ear/ tail type etc.) best. But you could always go for more pictures as well. I would also recommend to use adult pictures on a breeding site/ service, because with some petz you just can't tell for sure what type of body shape they have as a puppy. Same goes for when you want to take pictures of petz you're trying to adopt out...make sure people see all the pleasing features of the petz like patches and eyelid color etc. (and if for some reason you can't tell from the picture, you could always put a note under the picture explaining a little bit about each pet).
