xD This is a fail. Well I just started to 'hex'. By 'hex' I mean make something in Petz Workshop and spend hours trying to get it into the game. At the moment I have some questions about hexing with Petz Workshop. # 1- Well when I finish something in the program (Petz Workshop) I then spend lots of time trying to pull out the right pet in the adoption center. I was wondering if there was a way to make it so only the pet I made comes out in the adoption center. Because right now I will save it as a new breed but there are still other variations saved for the breed, so my creation hardly ever comes out. But when I click the Collapse All Variations button it make my wolf look all mangled looking. So, again, I was wondering if any of you know a way to make it so my creation is the only variation for this breed. Pictures: The OriginalAfter Collapse VariationSorry if what I said was confusing! I suck at explaining things, so feel free to have me clarify. #2 Another question! Yay! Well I decided to try LNZ Pro hexing, but the numbers and all confuse me. See I went to Add Ball and changed everything there to the orange/red color I want the wolf to be. But when I bring out the wolf only a few balls are colored. So I was wondering where else I need to change colors. Any help is greatly appreciated! As you can tell I am very new to this! I also just realized that I didn't post this in the Hexing Talk Board. Fail.

You really should collapse variations before you start >..<
But! There is a way to fix this in PW. I suck at explaining tho, so here goes: Y'know the right side column where there are tabs? Click variations. now you have to open up all the little thingies. After that, find the one you want by click the dot next to the variations. Once you find exactly what you want, right click (or you can highlight right click I think) and delete all the other ones (those that aren't highlighted). That should fix it :0

Well I tried to collapse the variations when I started, but I still get the mangled looking thing without ears.
I tried your suggestion, or am trying, but I can't seem to find the fur colors. xD I'll keep looking.

Ahem, to collapse variations without killing the file (usually there is something in the file that is missing, like an apostrophe or semicolon), you need to go into LNZ and delete the variations manually. Delete any Overrides that you see and then you'll be good to go! Check under Paintballz as well to make sure there aren't any variations you don't want in there.
And if you're going to say that you don't understand LNZ, you will have to learn the basics of it to anchor/texture stuff anyway soooo you might as well start now.
And I need to stop because my lecture is starting again, haha.
EDIT: Overrides are probably your issue for both. Delete Colour Info Override and Outline Info Overrides. Also, to avoid putting in Overrides when you colour your hex, do this:

Okay!
Thank you Brynn for moving the post. Stupid mistake.
Thank you Artemis! I am trying your suggestion.
EDIT: Thank you so much Artemis! Your suggestion worked and has made everything clear! I just have one little problem.
When I make the breed on Workshop I make it with a tattoo. But when I adopt the breed in the game it does not have the tattoo/s. I was wondering why this is.

Are you sure it is in the right spot? It might be hidden behind other ballz, so you might have to move it. It doesn't work like a paintball, I'm pretty sure you have to manually move it left and right and up and down to get it to the right spot.

Hmm, see when I am making the breed and I see it in the petz workshop it is there and in place. But in the game it doesn't show up. In WorkshopIn PetzSorry if I just misunderstood you. I just assumed that the game would place the tattoo on the breed.

^ I'm pretty sure it's too small to be seen in game... You might have to enlarge the tattoo a bit.

I'd enlarge the tattoo, and anchor the paintballs. (: Then you'd probably see it~

Okay thanks, I'll try that! EDIT: Thank you! It worked! My only problem now is that the eyelid color won't change. This is my last question! I change the number on the eyelid part of the file but it still stays gray. Why is this?

*smiles sheepishly* That worked. Thank you so much guys! I finally finished this hex, and if it wasn't for you I never would have.
